THE ROOMS

The guesthouse has several, different room types.  All rooms are private and vary in size.

All of the rooms in the house have access to a shared bathroom, shared full kitchen and common gathering spaces, such as the living room, porches, and dining area.

The Palm Suite is the only accommodation with an ensuite bathroom. There is a king-size bed, suitable for 2 (or 3) guests. This room has a private entrance on the ground floor and is perfect for couples or solo travelers who want a bit more privacy.

All of the other rooms in the house share two additional bathrooms, a full kitchen, and common gathering spaces. This is a great option for guests who want to socialize and meet other people, but still have the option to retreat to their own private space.

The Volcano Room is the largest room. There is a king-size bed, suitable for 2 (or 3) guests. This room has a high vaulted ceiling, and exterior doors to access a small outdoor patio. Additional features Include a window seat with view overlooking the gardens, and ample closet space.

The Garden Oasis Room is a unique experience for visitors who want to want to be connected with the amazing Hawaiian landscape...with the feel of pitching-a-tent! This room is a mini-greenhouse, screened and exposed to the outdoors. An easy climb up into a full-size, double bed will have you in your own mini "tree house". The room is largely private, yet open and exposed to a view of the rainforest. If you enjoy the sounds of the Hawaiian rains, tree frogs and ocean, this space is for you. This room has a small 5 step "ladder" to get up into the bed. A small ceiling-mount fan is provided, above the bed, for comfort and circulation.

The Ladder Loft Room sleep two comfortably, and includes all of the same amenities as our other rooms. The, notable, difference is the open plan of a loft space. The outside breezes travel into this space as it is aligned with the open-screened design of the building. (access to this room is via a ladder-stairway, a more steep version of stairs that is closer to a ladder.)

Named, most obviously, for its geographic facing, the morning sunrises introduce each new day of beauty and adventure. This mid-size room, features a queen-size bed, closet space, desk and chair. This room has the most "cozy" feel. It Is reminiscent of a stay in a forest cabin. If you are traveling solo, this room will embrace you tight (or be a welcome private space for an intimate, interaction with a friend...or stranger.)
