Monday has long been the unofficial gay day at Kehena Beach. Kehena Mauka Nui Club is hosting a potluck BBQ to provide a place to socialize in our garden AFTER visiting the beach. This public event will occur, rain or shine! Please invite anyone you think might be interested.

Food to share, liquor to stock the shared bar, items to throw on the grill, beer or seltzer for the cooler to share, or non-alcoholic drinks/mixers to share.

Going to the beach before the party? We've heard that many of you feel uncomfortable parking their car at Kehena Beach. We welcome you to come anytime Monday and park inside the gate (if the gate is open) or on the side of the road in front of our property or across the street as we are far off the main road and in a safer location for leaving your vehicle to go enjoy the beach. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the beach from here. You would also be welcome to drop off any food or drinks you want to keep cold for when you return to socialize later.

PARKING NOTE: Parking is a challenge so please carpool. One of the neighbors complained that too many people were parking their cars on the street pavement. Please be sure that all 4 wheels are off of the road when parking on the grass. ALSO, please do not block the community mailboxes or anyone's driveway.

This is not a nude event, but you may encounter nudity here. 18+ to attend. Dogs must have a leash available and you must bring cleanup bags. To prevent inappropriate inebriation we have a "no liquor shots" rule here. Out of respect for our neighbors we ask that all BBQ guests leave the property by 8:30pm. Mahalo for your kokua!
